basic security check

The Basic Security Check is a preventive measure for checking the security ofIT systems and networks.

The German Federal Office for Information Security( BSI) has dedicated itself to the topic of the Basic Security Check in the documentation " IT Baseline Protection Manual".

Since computer systems can usually be assumed to be connected to the Internet, the implementation of protective devices against viruses and to increase computer security are very important. Basic security checks play just as important a role as preventive ones. Such Basic Security Checks include the firewall services, the antivirus systems and the backup systems.
