An artificial personality, Artificial Personality(AP), is an artificial object with certain characteristic properties and behavioral traits designed to replace human assistants.

Artificial personalities are used in digital voice assistants, chatbots, driver assistance systems and computer games and can communicate emotionally with the user.

Digital voice assistants differ in their characteristic features and behavior patterns by having their own personality traits. For example, the response behavior of some is perky or respectful, whereas others respond humorously or matter-of-factly.
