Anti-Money Laundering(AML) is about preventing money laundering. Anti-Money Laundering is software for detecting suspicious financial flows and analyzing customer data.

AML software filters customer data, classifies suspicious transactions and anomalies in financial flows. These can be jumps in capital or large amounts of money being withdrawn from accounts.

Small transactions that meet certain criteria are also treated as suspicious. Such a criterion may be met if a customer deposits several small amounts of money within a short period of time.
