Insatellite navigation, an almanac is a set of data that includes the ephemeral parameters used by navigation equipment to calculate the elevation and angle of azimuth of satellites. These include the orbits and the deviations of the time references. Each of the 24 satellites of the GPS system transmits the almanacs of all satellites.
