Wi-SUN alliance
The Wi-SUN Alliance was founded in 2012 as an industry consortium that implements the IEEE802.15.4g standard so that industrial products can be developed from it.
The Wi-SUN Alliance's tasks include approving the operation of test laboratories, testing and certifying products, and promoting and marketing Wi-SUN technology.
The Wi-SUN Alliance develops communication profiles for use in smart homes and smart cities based on open standards andverifies product interoperability. The non-profit organization Wi-SUN Alliance is active worldwide, with approximately 60 companies as members.
