Rezence

Rezence is a wireless charging method based on the Alliance for Wireless Power( A4WP) technology and is suitable for charging smartphones, tablets and other mobile devices.

Rezence works with magnetic resonance in the near- field range and consists of the energy-transmitting unit, the Power Transmitting Unit( PTU), and one or more energy receivers, the Power Receiving Units( PRU). Power of up to 50 W can be transmitted between the two units at a distance of 5 cm. The resonant frequency is 6.78 MHz. These are the same specifications as for A4WP.

Rezence can simultaneously charge the batteries of up to eight mobile devices. The power level is controlled via a Bluetooth link. This also prevents overcharging or detects non-compliant mobile devices.
