RS-562

The RS562 interface is a lower voltageimplementation of the RS-232 serial interface.

RS562 has the same interface pinout as RS232, but operates at a maximum signal level of 3.5 V. Many RS562 components can communicate with RS232.

The RS562 port can be used to supply external components that require up to 3.5 V supply voltage.
