RG-5 cable

The RG-5 coaxial cable is a 50 ohm cable specially designed for wideband applications and can bridge distances of up to 500m.

The RG-5 cable has an outer diameter of 8.4 mm, the inner conductor has a diameter of 0.724 mm and the dielectric is made of polyethylene. The RG-5 cable is suitable for frequencies up to 300 MHz, for which it has an attenuation of 23 dB/100 m, at 10 MHz the attenuation is 2.9 dB/100 m, at 100 MHz 9.8 dB/100 m.
