PS/2 interface
PS/2 is a serial interface developed by IBM for the PS/2 computer system for connectingkeyboards and computer mice to personalcomputers(PCs).
The PS/2 interface has 6 pins and several grooves for anti- rotation protection. Pin 1 is used for data transmission, pin 2 is not connected, as well as pin 6, pin 3 forms the ground connection, pin 4 carries the supply voltage of +5 V and the clock signal is transmitted via pin 5. The supply of the microcontroller in the keyboard or mouse is done via pins 3 and 4.
