MRJ21 connector
Tyco's MRJ21 system is a multiple cable connector system that combines multiple TP cables into a more compact cable system with high packing density. It involves pre-terminated and tested multiple cables to which an MRJ21 connector is connected. The multiple cables are split into TP cables with RJ45 connectors in a fan-out unit, also known as a connection cassette.
These bundled multiple cables contain 12 TP cables, they have specified values and meet the requirements of European standards( EN) and EIA/ TIA specifications and are easier to install than individual RJ45 cables.
The MRJ21 connector system is used in data centers as an end-to-end connection, in Gigabit Ethernet, Fast Ethernet and Fibre Channel.
