Java banner

Java banners are interactive HTML banners. Through these interactive banners the visitor can directly make his inputs, he can activate fields, participate in surveys or change parameters.

Java banners are based on Java applets, which are small utilities inserted into the source code of HTML pages. The applets are launched by the Java engine of the browsers when the website is called.

The interaction of Java banners allows to insert small text passages or a ticker, to perform simple calculations or to support computer games and shopping in online stores. The visitor of a website can act in the Java banner and does not have to leave the called website. A disadvantage is the relatively high data volume for Java banners compared to HTML banners.
