Dash7

Dash7 is one of several network concepts for a Low Power WAN( LPWAN) for the Internet of Things( IoT).

Dash7 operates in Europe in the license-free ISM bands between 433.050 MHz and 434.790 MHz and at 868 MHz( EU), or 915 MHz (USA) and has channel bandwidths of 20 kHz and 200 kHz. Dash7 uses Gaussian Frequency Shift Keying ( GFSK) modulation. The bridgeable distance is about 5 km. The transmission can take place in the uplink and in the downlink with 9.6 kbit/s, 55 kbit/s or 155 kbit/s.

Dash7 Alliance Protocol, released by the Dash7 Alliance, can be configured in different topologies. Thus as a node-to-node connection, in a star topology or tree topology.
