virtual control program interface (VCPI)

The VCPI specifications(Virtual Control ProgramInterface) are the interface in the expanded memory area, the Expanded Memory Specifications ( EMS). Data in the memory area up to 32 MB can be accessed via the VPCI interface. The specifications are used to address the expanded memory area as part of the working memory.
