An Ultra Small Aperture Terminal (USAT) is a terminal in satellite radio that is set up for low data rates. The USAT terminal is a facility within the Personal Access Satellite System for the communicative connection of subscribers in remote areas to urban terrestrial networks. The uplink of the satellite transmission is in the 30 GHz range, the downlink in the 20 GHz range.
