transmission decrease factor (TDF)
The Transmission Decrease Factor (TDF) is an ABR service parameter in ATM networks. The TDF factor controls the reduction of the ATM Allowed Cell Rate ( ACR), which is related to the Time Out Fact or ( TOF).
