switched virtual channel connection (ATM) (SVCC)

A Switched Virtual Channel Connection (SVCC) is a switched virtual channel connection that is established and terminated dynamically by the signaling. In contrast, a Virtual Channel Connection( VCC) is an ATM connection where the switching is controlled via the data fields of the ATM cell for the Virtual Path Identifier( VPI) and the Virtual Circuit Identifier( VCI).
