structured audio orchestra language (SAOL)

In order to describe the effects used in MPEG-4 audio, the orchestration language Structured Audio Orchestra Language (SAOL) was developed and standardized. SAOL can be used to describe and position acoustic effects in scenes, allowing rooms to be described and simulated acoustically, taking into account the frequency-determining properties of reflections or absorptions.
