service description channel (DRM radio) (SDC)
The Digital Radio Mondiale(DRM) data frame consists of various multiplexed user and service channels. These include the Main Service Channel( MSC) and the Fast Access Channel( FAC) which are multiplexed and form the transmissionframe.
Several transmission frames are in turn combined to form a superframe. The Service Description Channel (SDC) is transmitted in the first transmission frame of the superframe. It consists of two symbols and contains the information about the multiplex.
In the other transmission frames, the Main Service Channel (MSC) uses the two symbols of the SDC channel.
