sequence identifier (SEQ_ID)

The Sequence Identifier (SEQ_ID) is a number in Fibre Channel (FC) that is added to each transmitted frame of a sequence and thus indicates that the frame is part of a sequence. SEQ_ID is a one-bytedata field of the FC data frame.
