Offline business comprises all business activities that take place independently of electronic media or the Internet. It stands in contrast to online business, with websites or other electronic forms of offering. Offline business is also often used in business terminology to describe a traditional and outdated business model. An example of offline business is the operator of a business without a website or the use of electronic marketing activities.
