layered error correction code (LECC)

Layered Error Correction Code (LECC) is an error correction ofcompact discs ( CD). The procedure is only used when errors cannot be corrected with the CIRC procedure, Cross Interleaved Reed Solomon Code (CIRC). LECC is based on error detection ( EDC) followed by error correction ( ECC).
