integrated voice data LAN (IVDLAN)

Integrated Voice DataLAN (IVDLAN) is the integration of voice and data in a local area network considering ISDN. These activities have been carried out in IEEE 802.9 and have led to the definition of the physical layer and the MAC sublayer, which are compatible with the standardized local area networks 802.3, 802 .4 and 802.3 as well as with ISDN. The activities are also known as Integrated Service LAN ( ISLAN) and isoENET.
