hosiden connector
The Hosiden connector is a four- pin connector with a guide groove used for connectingS-Video. This is how it is found on S- VHS, Video-8 and Hi8 video.
The four connectors are used to transmit the luminance signal (Y) and the chrominance signal (C) via coaxial cable. The outer shield is connected to ground.
