electromagnetic environment effect (EMC) (EEE)

The term Electromagnetic Environmental Effects(EEE or E3) identifies the exposure of electronic components and systems to sources of interference occurring in electromagnetic environments.

E3 effects include all terms related to the radiation and interference radiation effects such as the Electromagnetic Environment( EME), Electromagnetic Compatibility( EMC), Electromagnetic Interference ( EMI), Electromagnetic Vulnerability (EMC), Electromagnetic Pulse ( EMP), Radio Frequency Interference ( RFI), Electrostatic Discharge ( ESD), Lightning D ischarge( LS), as well as the Hazard to Persons (HERP) and Equipment (HERO) from Electromagnetic Radiation.
