dynamically redefinable character set (DRCS)

Dynamically Redefinable Character Set (DRCS) are methods that enable almost arbitrarily fine graphic representations by exploiting the triggering capacity of screens.

The DRCS character set works with a pixel grid of 10 x 12 pixels in which the user can freely define his special characters, a total of 92 different ones. In addition, with Datex-J or Btx, for example, any character sets can be activated dynamically in addition to the initial character set with the Latin alphabet. These can be character sets with Cyrillic characters, for example.
