coupling attenuation

The interference of external noise signals plays an important role for TP cables ofcategory 6 and 7. The interference power suppression is a parameter that describes how strongly external interference signals influence the data signal. The interference signal suppression depends on the frequency and is directly related to the electromagnetic compatibility ( EMC). The higher the interference power suppression, the better the EMC.

In modern data cables, the interference power suppression reaches values of over 90 dB at 300 MHz.
