control program for microcomputer (CP/M)

The Control Program for Microcomputer(CP/M) is an early operating system from Digital Equipment( DEC) for single- user computers with 8-bit processors. The CP/M operating system was later also designed for 16-bit processors, but disappeared from the market in the 1980s. Parts of the CP/M file management have gone into the MS- DOS operating system.
