branch out cable
The branch cable (Vzk) is part of the subscriber line within the local network. It consists of many copper twisted pairs and connects the cable branch(KVz) with several end branching points(EVz) or termination points line technology( APL).
The end branch (EVz), in turn, establishes a connection with the junction boxes at the user's premises via the end point cables. The branch cables are part of the subscriber line( ULL). In Germany, they are around 300 meters long, and can be up to 2 kilometers long at most, and contain 30 to a maximum of 100 copper pairs.
