application management standard (AMS)

The Application Management Standard (AMS) is an open standard that specifies uniform management procedures for applications and business systems throughout their entire lifecycle. AMS is non-invasive, no changes to the application are required; only description files are created for the description. These contain all the information required by the Business Systems Manager.
