address complete message (ACM)

The Address Complete Message(ACM) is a control message indicating that the address information has been completely transmitted.

The ACM message is a backward message sent from the receiver back to the sender. In ISDN, the ACM message is a signaling message of the Central Channel Signaling( CSS) for the connection setup of the user channel. It indicates that the subscriber is free and has answered the call.

The Address Complete Message is described in Q.763 by the ITU-T.
