An Accelerator Force Feedback Pedal (AFFP) is a haptic accelerator pedal that warns the driver of dangerous situations by vibrating.

The vibrating accelerator pedal appears to transmit hazard messages to the driver more reliably than visual or audible warning signals.

The AFFP accelerator pedal is connected to the adapted cruise control( ACC), which transmits information to the AFFP accelerator pedal when the safety distance is too small. In addition to the vibration, the counterpressure of the accelerator pedal also increases in dangerous situations.
