area communication controller (ACC)

The AreaCommunicationController (ACC) is a meshed switching node in the Modacom network. This node consists of the Radio Network Controller ( RNC), which monitors and controls the connected base station ( BS) and the Radio Network Gateway ( RNG), which establishes the transition to the data packet-switched X.25 network.
