ZigBee light link (ZLL)

ZigBee Light Link (ZLL) is a standardized ZigBee profile that belongs to ZigBee Home Automation( ZHA) and establishes interoperability between lighting devices and their control devices.

The ZLL profile allows lighting fixtures and control devices to be integrated into ZigBee networks and their security architectures. Consumers thus have wireless control over LED lighting, time settings, switches and dimmers. They can make settings based on the day or season, contributing to energy savings.

Communication is encrypted with a network key that is distributed to the wireless modules with a master key.
