UNI management entity (ATM) (UME)

UNI Management Entity (UME) is a code that forms the network management interface to an ATM network. Therefore, the UME specifications are also part of the Interim Local Management Interface( ILMI). The UNI Management Entity (UME) resides in the ATM devices in the UNI circuits.
