Thomas Conrad networks system (TCNS)
Thomas Conrad Networks System (TCNS) is a non-standardized method developed by Thomas Conrad Inc. for a high-speed network. TCNS was used to implement a 100 Mbit/s high-speed LANs based on the ARCnet specification. TCNS uses shielded copper cable( STP) or optical fiber.
The concept, developed in the 1990s, was overtaken by Ethernet development and never had any market significance.
