SIP for instant messaging and presence leveraging extension (SIMPLE)

Session Initiation Protocol for Instant Messaging and Presence Leveraging Extension (SIMPLE) is a special protocol for instant messaging( IM) and presence based on the Session Initiation Protocol( SIP). The SIMPLE protocol is an open standard suitable for sending short instant messages to multiple recipients. The SIMPLE protocol can simultaneously manage sessions between multiple participants.
