SC-RJ connector
The SC- RJ connector is an SFF connector for polymer fibers of type 980/1,000 µm. Its ferrules have a diameter of 2.5 mm.
In terms of design, the SCRJ connector corresponds to the SC connector for multimode and single- mode fibers. The SC-RJ connector is available as single and duplex connector. In addition to polymer fibers, the SC-RJ connector can also be used for HPCF fib ers (Hard Polymer Clad Fiber). SC-RJ connectors have a length of 50 mm and a width of 15 mm in the duplex version.
The SC-RJ connector is standardized in the IEC 61754-24 standard. For polymer fibers, the color combination of the SC-RJ connector is black and white. It has a locking mechanism based on the push-pull principle.
