Public mobile land radio

Mobile communications services are divided into public, non-public and private mobile communications services.

Public mobile communications services can be used by the general public. There are license-free and license-required public mobile communications services. They include the well-known networks for mobile communications such as the GSM network and UMTS, but also short-range radio and the various technologies for the connection area such as Wireless Local Loop(WLL) and WiMAX.
