IEEE 100GBase-KR2

100GBase-KR2 is a 100GbE interface for backplane Ethernet for bandwidth requirements in blade servers.

100GBase-KR2 is an interface for 100 Gigabit Ethernet for a point-to-point connection via copper backplanes. The 100GBase-KR2 interface has only two lanes over differential copper lines compared to 100GBase-KR4. The total insertion loss is less than 30 dB at 13.28125 GHz.
