EEBus initiative

The EEBus Initiative e.V. is an association of companies and associations of the German and international energy and electricity industry. The EEBus Initiative presents itself as an information and interest platform for standardization initiatives in the field of smart grids. The aim is to improve the exchange of data between energy suppliers and the devices used by consumers and to optimise energy consumption. To this end, the EEBus Initiative has specified the EEBus for the exchange of information between smart meters and household appliances.
