working draft (WD)

A draft is a draft. Working Drafts (WD) are working drafts and proposals that are introduced into the standardization process of the International Organization for Standardization( ISO).

Working Drafts have a preliminary, informal character. These documents first become Committee Drafts( CD), which become Final Committee Drafts ( FCD). At the end of the working drafts, after the committee decision, there is the actual International Standard (ISO).
