A wireless service provider(WSP) is a service provider that provides users with transmission services for mobile devices such as smartphones or tablet PCs.

Wireless Service Providers (WSP) support cellular networks as well as Personal Communication Services( PCS). The term may also refer to satellite services and Internet Service Providers(ISPs). The applications that can be accessed via wireless service providers are offered by wireless application service providers( WASP).
