WUXGA (Ultra Wide) is the widescreen version of UXGA. It has a horizontal resolution of 1,920 pixels and a vertical resolution of 1,080 pixels. The aspect ratio is 16:9, and the color depth is 24 bits. The WUXGA format also exists with 1,920 x 1,200 pixels for the 16:10 aspect ratio. The image resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 corresponds to the resolution of high-definition televisionHDTV.
