Hackers are divided into white-hat hackers, grey-hat hack ers and black-hat hackers.
White-hat hackers are experts in information security. They penetrate computer systems or networks with the company's permission, uncover security gaps and security-related vulnerabilities, and assess the security of computer systems and networks. Unlike other hackers, they do no harm. Grey hat hackers are different. They work on the edge of legality. And, as far as black-hat hack ers are concerned, they do damage to data and programs. White-hat hackers, also known as ethical hackers, work in accordance with the law and examine computer systems or networks, for example, with penetration tests, to determine their security vulnerabilities, which they report to companies. They may be professional security experts commissioned by companies to detect and document security vulnerabilities in corporate networks.
