A Web Development Framework(WDF) is a development tool that allows software developers to create and manage website and web applications.

The WDF framework includes templates that contain the basic framework and the textual and graphical elements for creating websites. It also helps software developers program the application programming interface( API) and build the content management system( CMS) for managing information on the Web.
