virtual scheduling (ATM) (VS)

Virtual scheduling(VS) is a method for determining the conformance of incoming ATM cells.

The Virtual Sheduling algorithm calculates when an ATM cell arrives and updates the theoretical arrival time (TAT). If the sending station sends the ATM cells with identical time intervals, then the theoretical arrival time must correspond to the nominal arrival time.
