vehicle safety
Vehicle safety refers to all technical devices that increase driving safety as driver assistance systems. These include safety systems that indicate obstacles, objects or deviations from lanes. The same applies to systems such as the parking assistant, which increases the rear field of vision, monitors the blind spot, the rear of the vehicle or the distance to the vehicle in front.
Some of these measures can be solved by improving existing optical and mechanical devices, others by adding electronic and radio systems. These include radar systems and infrared systems, laser scanners, ultrasonic systems, sensor systems, and video systems.
Optimal vehicle safety is achieved by combining multiple systems that have specific short-range and long-range advantages, such as short-range rad ar or long-range radar, when detecting obstacles or monitoring road markings.
