value of investment (VoI)

Value of Investment (VoI) is a method for evaluating the economic efficiency of investments in storage networks.

Total Cost of Ownership( TCO) and Return on Investment( ROI) are other methods for assessing economic efficiency, but they do not reach the same level of complexity as Value of Investment. The VoI approach, like the other two methods, examines the cost of the technology and the business. In addition, the VoI model looks at business optimization in terms of revenue, profit and productivity. In addition, the VoI model adds non-measurable benefits expressed in terms of strategy and productivity.
