user agent entity (UAE)

The User AgentEntity (UAE) is an instance in the User Agent Layer (UAL) of the application layer. The UAE processes the protocol for providing the services and exchanges control information with the Message Transfer Agent Entity ( MTAE) or the Submission and Delivery Entity ( SDE).
