urgent flag (TCP) (URG)
The Urgent Flag (URG) is a bit indicator in the Control Flag field of the TCP header. If an Urgent flag is set, the marked data must be processed further with the Urgent Data Signalling Service.
The Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) supports Urgent data of any length and informs the application program how much Urgent data is still in the receive buffer.
